DEVELOPMENTAL SESSIONS

Ages: 9-18
Thursdays, June 7 – July 26 • 12:30-2:00pm
Cost: $99 per student
Registration begins April 1st at Highland Hills Golf Course

Once your junior golfer has been introduced to the game, if they decide to take it seriously, the next step is our Developmental Program. The program, along with our Junior Play Days, will get them off to a great start towards a lifelong enthusiasm for golf.

The Developmental Program is open to any golfer ages 9-18. These sessions are designed for players that already play and are looking to improve all areas of the game by doing the painstaking work that is necessary to become competitive golfers.

This will be a group session where junior golfers will have an opportunity to get in-depth instruction, video analysis of their swings and learn practice routines to help them develop their skills so they can achieve their individual goals. Our philosophy is simple: we will begin at the hole and work backwards to the tee. The goal is to produce junior golfers who improve as they get closer to the hole. Progress will move at the pace of the junior. In addition, each session will include competitions that are designed to make the junior golfer utilize their skills when it matters most.

If you have any questions call Highland Hills Golf Course at 970-353-GOLF (4653).

Valued Golfer-

The City of Greeley public golf courses, Highland Hills and Boomerang Links Golf Courses, are restricting the rental & usage of electric riding golf carts starting Monday, January 14, 2019. This is due to the extreme drought conditions and to make all efforts to currently protect the golf courses and secure the excellent playability of our golf courses for this upcoming season.

However, our regular and visiting golfers who are qualified individuals with mobility disabilities may identify themselves to golf course management and will be allowed to rent a riding golf cart. We ask at the time of the rental the accessibility placard we provide stays in view on the golf cart. Golf course management is also requiring these golf carts stay on all cart paths where available and where cart paths are not available make all efforts to stay a minimum of 20 feet from all tees and greens.

We are hoping this restriction on riding golf carts will cease within a couple of weeks. The golf courses do have a plan in place that charges up the irrigation systems early in February if this winter drought continues. We prefer not to go to this extent but are prepared to do so to provide moisture to the courses.

The City of Greeley Golf Division thanks you for your understanding and cooperation during this tough circumstance.

Sincerely,

Wayne Leighton, PGA
